Update: 7/9/22

Yesterday, 2 magnitude 5.8 earthquakes struck the Mariana Islands. There are still increased levels of seismic activity out there. It might become more active as the day or week ahead progresses. A major earthquake is due somewhere. Regions that may be candidates for the next large quake would include: Indonesia(Sumatra, Java, or the Banda Sea region), the Andaman Islands region, Papua New Guinea, Japan(Hokkaido), Kuril Islands, Aleutian Islands, Tonga region, Vanuatu... The possibility of an intraplate earthquake somewhere also cannot be ruled out. There was one in southern India and Germany, but they were both below magnitude 5.
