EQ WATCH: April 19-30

There is now an extremely high potential for magnitude 7 or greater worldwide anytime now or within the next week or two - two weeks at the longest at this point. There may even be a particularly strong and violent earthquake imminent somewhere in the world anytime or day now. Regions of concern include: Andaman and Nicobar Islands region(India), Myanmar(Burma) Western China, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Northern India, Iran, Turkey, Southern Greece, Indonesia(Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Bali, Pulau Sumbawa and Flores), Flores Sea region, East Timor, Banda Sea region, New Guinea, Papua New Guinea, Philippines(Mindanao, Luzon), Northern Mariana Islands, Japan(Honshu, Hokkaido, Ryukyu Islands), Kamchatka Peninsula and Kuril Islands, Aleutian Islands and Southern Alaska, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Fiji, Kermadec Islands, possibly New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Central America, and Mexico.
It does not look like much is going on anywhere right now, but it may suddenly become extremely active at least somewhere at any moment or any day. It may not act up now or even tomorrow, but at least within the next two weeks, more major earthquake activity is due to strike somewhere. At the same time, something could happen at any moment. There has also not been anymore noticeable activity here in Southern California this week. There is due to be more within the next week or two - magnitude 3-4 or greater. Something more significant could be around the corner. It could suddenly spring up on us any day. It is best to be vigilant even when there is nothing going on at all and having not been active in a long time.
There might also be more activity warming up elsewhere in California such as the Sierras with a very high chance of mag. 3-4+ any time or day now or within the next week or two. More activity could be heating up in other parts of the Western U.S. such as Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and the Pacific Northwest. I will be updating in the meantime here: https://twitter.com/SeismicFox1

April 13-14, 2019

There is an extremely high chance of major earthquake activity worldwide any moment now or sometime within the next 2 weeks. A powerful earthquake may be imminent somewhere anytime now, or it could hold off for another week or two. Regions under watch include the Andaman and Nicobar Islands region, Indonesia(Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Kepulauan Barat Daya), East Timor, New Guinea, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands region, Santa Cruz Islands, Fiji, Tonga, possibly New Zealand, Philippines(Mindanao, Luzon), Taiwan, Japan, Kuril Islands, Aleutian Islands, Alaska Peninsula, possibly the Gulf of Alaska/coast of British Columbia, Southern Mexico, Central America, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, South Sandwich Islands, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Myanmar(Burma), China(Xizang, Sichuan, or Yunnan)..
There is now a possibility something big may be taking place along the Pacific NW coast anywhere from Northern California to British Columbia. This includes the Oregon and Washington coast. It may not necessarily be a major quake, but it is possible that it may be becoming more significantly active there very soon. There also may be more magnitude 4 or higher here in Southern California anytime or day now. Something more significant could be on the rise within a few weeks or possibly sooner at this point. It changes as time goes on, so I will have to wait and find out if it does start showing signs of becoming more significantly active here that soon. It has been a very long time, too long of a time since the last strong earthquake in Southern California.
As far as the rest of the world is concerned, there may or may not be anything serious taking place anywhere right now. There is an extremely high chance of a major quake somewhere in the world anytime now within the next 2 weeks. It may or may not act up more in Southern California this week, but I have Twitter where I can update throughout the course of the week.
