The activity may start surging again in parts of the world anytime now. There is still a high chance of a magnitude 6-7 or greater somewhere at any moment or later on in the week. Places that may be under that threat include: the Andaman Islands region, Indonesia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Japan(Hokkaido), Aleutian Islands(Alaska), Bolivia, Chile, Iran, Azerbaijan region... At the same time, that threat could also die back down. It has been unstable late last night and all day today. The activity in Southern California is still very low. However, a spike in activity with more magnitude 3+ quakes is likely this week. More could start happening tonight or tomorrow. However, it will not surprise me if it does not change tonight or by tomorrow morning. More seismic activity may also start increasing in other parts of CA such as the Ridgecrest area and Mammoth Lakes.
