There has been some more moderate earthquakes occurring in the world since yesterday, but nothing large. However, there is still a high potential for more large earthquake activity within the next 5 days. A magnitude 6 or greater could happen anytime today, this weekend, or next week so far. Regions that are of potential concern include: parts of Central Asia such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, and/or Myanmar, Iran, Indonesia(Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, or Halmahera), Banda or Flores Sea region, Molucca Sea region, Philippines(Luzon or the Batan and Babuyan Islands), New Guinea or Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Fiji, South Sandwich Islands, Argentina, Peru, Northern Mariana Islands, Japan.. More seismic activity is expected to rise in Southern California within the week ahead so far. There is also a higher chance of more activity on the rise in Central and/or Eastern California. More magnitude 3+ may occur elsewhere in the West such as Idaho or Nevada. There is still a high chance for strong earthquakes worldwide today, but at the same time, there may not be much going on again yet.
