Update: 7/30/21

More significant earthquake activity is continuing worldwide. A magnitude 6.1 just struck northwestern Peru, near the border of Ecuador. It had a focal depth of about 20 miles. Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should have been felt by everyone around the area of the epicenter. In those areas, dangerous ground shaking took place with the potential to inflict moderate to heavy damage to buildings and other infrastructure. Towns or cities where the quake likely caused strong shaking include probably moderate shaking in Sullana(pop. 160,800) located about 9 miles from the epicenter, Querecotillo(pop. 25,400) 10 miles away, Marcavelica(pop. 25,600), 11 miles away, Tambo Grande(pop. 30,000), 15 miles from the epicenter, Piura(pop.  325,500), 17 miles from the epicenter, San Martin(pop. 130,000), 18 miles away, Catacaos(pop. 57,300), 23 miles away, and Chulucanas(pop. 68,800), 29 miles away from the epicenter.

Update: 7/29/21

A magnitude 8.2 struck off the Alaskan Peninsula late last night. The tremor was felt throughout the state. A tsunami warning was subsequently issued. It lasted nearly two hours. It reached as far as Hawaii, but the waves were only 7 inches above normal when they hit the shoreline. The threat was downgraded and lifted several hours later. There was no significant damage caused by the earthquake. This was the third powerful quake to hit Alaska in the last 18 months. Alaska had two of the most powerful earthquakes in 2020. More aftershocks are to continue. There still may be more taking place in the world in terms of significant earthquake activity.

How I do it Pt 3

In conclusion, I try my best everyday to pay attention to whatever I'm feeling amidst distractions. When I start to feel an increase in energy, pain or discomfort in my left side, sometimes accompanied with dizziness and a headache, I make sure I spring into action and post or tweet as a warning before something potentially happens somewhere. I decided to be more real about everything and change my icons each time I start feeling something. I also want to be careful not to cause unnecessary anxiety or panic and confusion. It is fluid. I even added a sleep mode icon because I am not a robot! I want to make it clear that I'm not claiming to predict earthquakes or have some kind of gift other people do not have. We all are connected to nature in various ways. This just happens to be my thing. I became deeply interested in earthquakes 12 years ago and fascinated by the powerful phenomena and how people have been hoping for ways to see them coming. I took on something that grew on me over the years. Oddly, I'm not afraid to put myself out there with the possibility of looking foolish in attempting to warn others before something happens somewhere. I may have let that sink in every now and then, but I feel strangely confident about it as though I know the earth intimately. It is like it is a part of me. I'm deeply sewn into it and the extreme processes taking place throughout. We all can become deeply connected to certain sources out there. You just have to find out what that is. We all can benefit from becoming deeply engrossed in those things and taking it to the next level.

How I do it - Part 2

I don't predict earthquakes. I cannot say when or where a magnitude 7.6 will hit and given a precise date, time, and location and guarantee it will happen. I can form an idea as to where a large one might happen and a time window, but I never guarantee a strong quake will hit in a specific region at a certain date and time. It just does not work that way. Nothing can be set in stone. Even meteorologists cannot say on Monday morning that it is going to definitely rain in Detroit on Friday at 3 O'Clock in the afternoon. It can change. There are people out there known as "earthquake sensitives" or people who claim to feel things before an earthquake somewhere. I tried to find someone who had anything similar to what I felt, but I found no one so far. I'm not all over the place and am careful not to include multiple random symptoms or ailments and have them scattered in random parts of the world. An example would be a person in Canada who experienced a ringing in their ears before a magnitude 6.4 in Greece or a stomach ache before a magnitude 4.5 near San Francisco. Then there is the other camp of seers and those who post King James Bible videos on Youtube or try to play Nostradamus by basing their "predictions" on planetary positions. If I were not so painfully shy and self-conscious, I could have my own Youtube channel dedicated to all this. I know I should consider more media platforms, but at this point, I have not figured out how. I also am busy with other things in my life. I have made mistakes where I have been a bit flimsy with my other blog, especially after moving out here. I was completely turned around and thrown upside down by this drastic relocation. It was taking me a while to find my bearings. It is a completely different environment out here, not only geographically and demographically, but also geologically. It is a totally different energy. I lived in Southern California for 8 years, so this move was a very difficult change for me. I was also afraid something had been cut off, something did not feel right. I was worried about my venous system with feeling these deep leg pains and spasms and waking up finding small bruises. I just now noticed that I may have adapted to where I'm connected to activity around the continent and not just picking up on strong activity in other parts of the world. I usually am feeling confident in what I am doing, but there are times where it is more difficult to determine what is going on in the world or anywhere else closer. I have found myself in a conundrum where I have not been sure whether I should execute a watch post or not. Sometimes, it feels shifty where it does not feel like much is going on for now, but at the same time it could suddenly explode with activity at any time. I'm also probably just being chancy where it feels like there is little going on, but I'm afraid of missing the opportunity to say something if it were to suddenly act up. This has happened most often before I would go to bed at night, uncertain whether or not something might happen somewhere overnight.

How I do it - Part 1

I decided to change up the system I have been using on Twitter with these avatars. I would switch them accordingly to the activity, but now I change them based on what I'm feeling at the moment. I will be honest and say that I generally base what may be going on in the world on whatever I'm feeling. I still am skeptical by actually monitoring the activity throughout the day and try to trace it back to where the most energy may be coming from with whichever regions have been producing the most earthquakes most recently. I'm deeply in sync with whatever is going on out there. Just before more strong earthquake activity is to occur in the world whether it be hours, moments, or several days in advance, I feel pain or pressure in my left side and my energy is high. Sometimes, I even get headaches just before sudden spikes in energy. I discovered today that I have developed more into picking up on more activity(mag. 3-4+) around parts of North America. It may have developed from my move across the country from California but had a 4-month gestation period. I did not develop it right off the bat after getting to Tennessee. It must have formed after enough time and scoping everything out. I have not always been forthcoming about this. I am aware that the general public only listens to scientists and people may write me off as another whack-job who thinks they can predict earthquakes. I have never used the word prediction in any of my posts in all the 10 years I have been doing this. When it comes to the peculiar symptoms, I write about them in another blog that would more logically explain why these occur. I may have messed up some by including a laundry list of symptoms and physical sensations I feel. I most recently had to confront it and just stick to the most peculiar symptoms I feel every time before there is an earthquake.

EQ Watch: 7/28-8/2/21

There could be more going on again within the next 5 days so far. There may be more potentially going on in North America any day now. There already has been a surge in activity in parts of the United States. There could potentially be something going on in the Central U.S. or possibly the Eastern U.S., but it most likely may be in the West. I have been looking more at Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm not sure if that major US city will be hit by a significant event any time soon, but they can happen there or close to the area. Nevada has been more active over the past year. It could be within days or weeks or even months when or if something happens there. It could also just be a mag. 4 or 5 shaking that area. At the same time, there may not be anything going on there. It just feels more active across parts of the West and possibly more coming this way. There is a high potential for more mag. 6+ earthquake activity in the world somewhere within the week ahead at this point. Regions that may be hot spots may include: Mexico and Central America, Peru, Chile, the Kermadec Islands, Tonga, Fiji, the Samoas, the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Japan(Hokkaido, Izu Islands, Ryukyu Islands), Kuril Islands, Kamchatka Peninsula, Aleutian Islands, Indonesia(Sumatra, Nias, Java), Myanmar, Greece, Turkey.. I have not been sure whether to make a new post or not today. I have been more preoccupied with what may be going on within a 2-3,000 mile radius of my location in Middle Tennessee. At this point, there may be nothing going on in the world for now. It still could become very active somewhere out there within the next few days so far. It suddenly spiking out there today is possible.

Extended Watch: 7/16/21

There has been some more significant earthquake activity taking place once more in parts of the world. A magnitude 6.2 struck Sulawesi Indonesia today. No casualties have been reported so far. There may still be more significant activity going on in the world within the week ahead so far. It could drag on through July 30th. At the same time, it could die back down. Other regions to watch out for would include: the Kamchatka Peninsula, the Kuril Islands, Izu Islands, Ryukyu Islands, Japan proper(Hokkaido), Western Turkey, Myanmar, Indonesia(Nias, Sumatra), Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Fiji, the Kermadec Islands.. Some more activity has occurred in parts of the U.S. A magnitude 3.2 occurred near Tehachapi, CA and some more activity may be firing up in other areas across the country. Some more earthquake activity has also been taking place in South Central Alaska. A magnitude 4.1 struck near Mentasta Lake in the Mentasta Mountains.

Update: July 25, 2021

More significant activity in the world may be continuing. A magnitude 6.1 was reported in the Kermadec Islands yesterday and a magnitude 5.8 aftershock hit just a few hours ago. There again, still may be more strong earthquake activity taking place in the world any time now. Other regions to watch may include: the Ryukyu and Izu Islands(Japan), Tonga, the Solomon Islands, Fiji region, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia(Sulawesi, Halmahera, Pulau Sumbawa, Nias, or Sumatra), possibly Greece or Turkey, possibly Italy, Central America, Western Mexico.. There may be some more seismic activity flaring up back over in Southern California  - mag. 3+ anytime now or this week. There may also be more noticeable aftershocks following the Eastern Sierras/Smith Valley, NV sequence any time now. The rest of the country appears completely bare on the USGS monitor, with not one micro earthquake seen outside of the West Coast. I'm not sure whether that is a computer error or not. I have never seen it like that.

Update: 7/23/21

There continues to be more serious activity taking place in the world. A magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck south of Manila, Philippines nearly 2 hours ago. Some residents were awakened by the strong vibrations that lasted nearly a minute. The earthquake was too deep to cause a tsunami. It is still heated out there. There is still a chance for more strong earthquake activity in the world within the next several days so far. A more powerful event somewhere is possible. Other active areas may include: the Kamchatka Peninsula, Aleutian Islands, Central America, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Tonga, New Zealand, Indonesia, Greece, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Japan, the Northern Mariana Islands..

Update: 7/22/21

A magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck near the coast of Panama Wednesday afternoon. The quake was centered about 30 miles to the South of the Punta de Burica Peninsula, South of the border between Panama and Costa Rica. It hit at 2:15 p.m. Pacific Time. The shaking was felt throughout the region, as far north as the border between Costa Rica and Nicaragua and east past Panama City. There were no immediate reports of damage and no tsunami warning was issued. There may still be a high potential for more strong earthquake activity in the world any time or day now. There has also been more activity in parts of the United States.

Update: 7/21/21

A magnitude 6.0 struck Papua New Guinea today. There has been a lot of activity going on in that area around the Bismarck Sea. It got rather quiet again yesterday, but there is more going on today so far. There could be a larger earthquake imminent somewhere out there any time now. It could be in the same region or it could be somewhere else such as Japan(Kyushu, Hokkaido, or the Ryukyu Islands), Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Iran, Greece, Peru, or the Southwestern Pacific. Some more seismic activity has occurred across parts of the U.S. A mag. 3.1 happened in Southern Texas just minutes ago. There could be more going on in other areas such as Western Texas, Eastern New Mexico, California(Northern and potentially Central or Southern), Idaho, or possibly the Central or Eastern U.S. any time or day now. There may also be more mag. 4+ in Alaska any time or day now this week. There again is a very high potential for more large earthquake activity in the world any time or day now so far.

Update: 7/18/21

Yesterday afternoon, a magnitude 6.1 occurred South of Panama at a depth of 10 km(6.2 miles). No significant damage or fatalities were reported. More moderate earthquakes have occurred around the world. A magnitude 5.1 occurred along the coast of Northern California overnight. It may still be heated out there where more mag. 6+ may be likely within the next few days. There could be a lot going on today/this week. Other places to watch would include: Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Fiji, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia.. I'm still also mindful of the possibility of something going on in the Gulf of Alaska and the coast of British Columbia. There could also be mag. 3+ in Southern and/or Central California anytime now this week as well as Idaho, Utah, Montana, and Wyoming. There could be more aftershock activity in Eastern CA and Nevada anytime now. There may also be more mag. 4+ in Alaska. There may not be much going on in the Central or Eastern U.S. now, but there is a chance of some more seismic activity occurring in parts of this side of the country within the coming days or weeks. There again is a very high chance for more strong earthquake activity worldwide. A magnitude 7 or greater somewhere anytime now this week is also a possibility.

Update: 7/17/21

Some more moderate-sized earthquakes have occurred in parts of the world over the last 18 hours. The largest was a magnitude 5.7 in the South Sandwich Islands region. The largest next to that was a mag. 5.5 in the Fiji region. It may gel for right now, but it might start becoming more active any moment now. There is a high likelihood of magnitude 6 or greater somewhere out there within the next several days so far. The regions to watch out for may include: Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, the Ryukyu Islands region, Japan(Kyushu, Hokkaido), Philippines(Mindanao), Indonesia(Sulawesi, Halmahera, Banda Sea region), East Timor, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Northern Chile.. Some more activity has flared up across parts of the United States including Western Texas, Idaho, Arkansas, and South Carolina. There was a small magnitude 2.1 in Central Arkansas and a mag. 2.0 near Charleston, SC. There have been a total of 10 small earthquakes around parts of the Eastern Seaboard over the past week and around 40 over the past month. Of course, there are the aftershocks taking place in Nevada and Eastern CA. There may be more mag. 3+ taking place around parts of the West and there could be more activity going on in the Central and Eastern U.S. There could also be something potentially significant going on in the Gulf of Alaska or off the coast of British Columbia any time or day now. Again, the potential for large earthquake activity in the world any time now or within the next 5-7 days is extremely high.

EQ WATCH: 7/16-24/21

There may just now be more significant earthquake activity on the rise worldwide any time now. It has been generally quiet for a long time. There could even be a magnitude 7 or larger looming somewhere out there. Regions that may be candidates for the next strong earthquake would include: the Kuril Islands, Japan(Hokkaido, Northern Honshu), Bonin Islands, Volcano Islands, Ryukyu Islands, Taiwan, Philippines, Northern Mariana Islands, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Central America, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, South Sandwich Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands.. At this point, it may start heating up again any time now. It could fall quiet again, but there is an extremely high chance of a magnitude 6 or greater in the world any time or day now. There may be more activity occurring across parts of the United States including the Yellowstone area, parts of California, Western Texas, and possibly parts of the Central and Eastern U.S. any time or day now. There has also been some more earthquake activity occurring off the Southern coast of Alaska. Again, there may be a very high threat for large earthquake activity somewhere in the world any time now within the next week ahead. It could be any moment now, tomorrow, or sometime next week at this point.

Outlook: July 2021

I made a post the other night even though I knew there probably was not going to be any significant earthquakes going on anywhere possibly until next week. I ended up deleting it. At the rate it is going, there also may not even be any significant activity going on in the world at all this weekend. Although it can change fairly rapidly and there could be a lot going on by tomorrow morning, it may be staying quiet for right now. The other night, I was debating myself on whether or not to make a post before going to bed. I was afraid that it would become active overnight while I was asleep even though it did not feel like there was going to be anything serious going on out there for a while. There has not been an abundant amount of activity going on worldwide over the past month and you would think it should start acting up by now, but there have been prolonged periods of low global seismic activity. A few years ago, there was a period of very few earthquakes in the world that went on for several months. I'm not implying that it may be like that again this time, but it may or may not become significantly active anywhere in the world this weekend. It may be next week when the next mag. 6+ happens somewhere. There was recently a magnitude 6 in the Antelope Valley area in Eastern California, but there have overall been very few sizeable EQs in the world over the past month and a half. At this point, there could be a set of large earthquakes worldwide within the next 5-10 days. It could start up tomorrow or this weekend or it could be sometime next week. Regions that may be more active would include the Kuril Islands, Taiwan, Indonesia, parts of Central Asia, Central America, and other places that are typically very active such as the Philippines and the Southwestern Pacific Ring of Fire. Right now, it may remain quiet out there, but there is still a decent chance a large quake could occur somewhere out there at any time.

Update: 7/12/21

The activity around the world has fallen flat again. There may still be little going on out there for now. At this point, it may or may not act up within the next 3 days. It could even delay and become very active within the next 5-7 days. It is uncertain at this point. There is still a chance it could change and a lot could end up happening out there today. Meanwhile, there has been some more minor activity occurring in parts of the Central and Eastern U.S. A few small earthquakes have occurred in Eastern Tennessee since yesterday morning. Yesterday morning, a mag. 2.2 occurred near the town of Kingston at 6:36. This morning, a magnitude 2.3 occurred near Maryville at 5:21 followed by a mag. 2.0 at 5:47. A micro quake also occurred in the New Madrid Seismic Zone overnight, near Ridgely, TN. There could also be some more activity occurring in areas like Western Texas and Southwestern Montana. There could also be some activity occurring around California and other parts of the Western U.S. There has also been more activity heating up in Southern Alaska.

Update: 7/10/21

A magnitude 6.1 earthquake occurred in the Northern Molucca Sea, 215 km West of Tobelo, Indonesia around 12 hours ago. No tsunami warning was issued and there were no immediate reports of damage. Significant earthquakes are common in that part of the world. Unfortunately, people were not so lucky in Tajikistan where a magnitude 5.8 earthquake took place less than 2 hours after the one in the Molucca Sea. Five deaths have been reported and dozens of homes were damaged. There continues to be a heightened potential for more strong earthquakes in the world. Other places to watch may include: Japan(Hokkaido, Kyushu, Izu Islands), Northern Mariana Islands, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia(Molucca Sea region and Sumatra), parts of Central Asia, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Fiji, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Aleutian Islands.. There could also once again be some more seismic activity occurring across parts of the U.S. More noticeable aftershocks would be likely in that area near Smith Valley. There again continues to be a very high potential for more strong earthquake activity in the world.

2nd Update: 7/8/21

A magnitude 6.0 earthquake occurred around the California-Nevada border. It was felt all the way over in the Bay area and multiple aftershocks have ensued. So far, there have been no reports of significant damage. However, the tremor and aftershocks did cause a rockslide at highway 395 at a campground called Chris Flat in Walker Canyon in Mono County. There were no reports of injuries in the area. There may continue to be more earthquake activity going on. Anyone there should be on guard in case another large tremor strikes. There continues to be more activity on the rise worldwide. Other places to watch may include: the Izu Islands region(Japan), Philippines Molucca Sea region, Central America, parts of Central Asia, and the Gulf of Alaska. I have been also been more watchful over what may be going on in parts of the Central U.S. I'm of course not sure what may be going on, but I wouldn't be surprised if something significant were to occur somewhere in the Central or Eastern U.S. in the coming days or weeks. There has been activity occurring more throughout different parts of the country. I'm not necessarily talking about a particularly big event. There just could be something going on. There also could be more taking place out West. There again, may be more strong earthquake activity on the rise worldwide any time or day now.

https://twitter.com/SeismicFox1

Update: 7/8/21

There have been more mag. 5+ earthquakes occurring worldwide over the past day. Yesterday, it on and off showed signs of becoming active. Right now, it is showing signs of becoming more significantly active out there so far. There is a very high chance of magnitude 6 or larger somewhere out there any time now. There might be a lot going on within the next few days at this point. It may even become more violently active today. Places to watch out for may include: Japan(Izu Islands, Kyushu, Honshu, or Hokkaido), Northern Mariana Islands, Taiwan, Philippines(Mindanao, Luzon), Indonesia(Seram, Halmahera, Banda Sea, Sumatra), East Timor, New Guinea, Central Asia(Northern India, Afghanistan, or Pakistan), Eastern Iran, Western Mediterranean Sea region, Northern Chile, Southern Peru, or Bolivia, South Sandwich Islands... Again, it may or may not become very active yet, but there is a very high potential for more serious activity in the world within the next 5 days.

New EQ Watch: 7/7-13/21

There may now be more magnitude 6 or greater on the rise in the world any time now. It became fairly quiet again over these past few days, but there just now may be much more going on anytime in the coming days so far. There could be a lot of serious activity going on somewhere out there at any time. Regions to watch out for would include: parts of Central Asia(Northern India or Western China), Pakistan, Iran, Northern Mariana Islands, Indonesia(Java, Banda Sea region, Molucca Sea), Japan(Hokkaido), Bonin Islands region, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Chile, Bolivia.. There is a strong chance of more significant earthquake activity going on in the world any time now. At the same time, it may not become very active yet. There also may again be more seismic activity occurring across parts of the United States and Alaska. There was a mag. 4.1 in Montana this morning and there was some activity in Western Texas. Some more seismic activity could flare up in parts of California such as the Northern part of the State or the Sierras and Western Nevada. There again, could be more strong earthquake activity occurring in the world any time now. It has been too quiet lately.

Update: 7/4/21

A pair of magnitude 6.0 earthquakes occurred just off the coast of Atacama, Chile late yesterday. There still may be more strong earthquake activity on the rise worldwide. There may even be a magnitude 7 or greater looming somewhere out there. Places to watch out for may include: Pakistan, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands region, Northern Mariana Islands, Indonesia, Japan, the Kuril Islands region, the Aleutian Islands, Philippines.. There is still a very high potential for a surge in significant earthquake activity in the world any time or day now. There has been more activity occurring in parts of the United States. A magnitude 2.4 occurred around the border of Tennessee and Kentucky on Friday near the town of Jellico(TN). There may be some more activity taking place in California and other parts of the West such as Nevada. There may be more activity occurring in Northern CA such as near the town of Concord. There may be more activity occurring in other areas of the U.S. More mag. 3+ could take place in Texas and/or Oklahoma any time now. There has recently been a lot of activity occurring in those areas. There may also be more activity going on again in the Central and/or Eastern U.S. It may not be that busy in the world right now, but there is due to be more serious activity going on out there any time or day now.

Yesterday, a magnitude 6.1 struck the Fiji Islands region. There is more activity on the rise in the world now. A magnitude 5.7 occurred in the Southeast Indian Ridge earlier and a magnitude 5.2 just occurred along the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. There is due to be more strong earthquake activity this week. There may be a lot going on this weekend or within the next 5-7 days at this point. It has been very quiet lately for a while. Areas to watch out for would include: Indonesia, Philippines, the Kuril Islands region, Northern Mariana Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Bolivia, Peru, possibly the Eastern Mediterranean Sea region.. There has been some more activity occurring in Southern California and other parts of the Western U.S. There has not been any new reported events in the Central or Eastern U.S., but there may be more going on within days or weeks once again. Again, there is a very high chance of more strong earthquake activity worldwide any time or day now.

Updated EQ Watch: 7/2-9/21

This is going on longer than I previously anticipated. It is staying quiet. It has shown no signs whatsoever of becoming active anywhere in the world over the past week. It should not be like this much longer. There should be a lot of significant activity in the world within the next 7 days. I would be surprised if it is still quiet by next week as it has been quiet for a while now. It also may not be another day of little or no significant activity anywhere. There is a strong chance it could become active out there today. There is a very high potential for a lot more to take place this weekend or early next week. Places to watch may include: the Kuril Islands, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines(Batan and Babuyan Islands region, Mindanao), Indonesia, Tonga, Fiji, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Western China, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Central America.. Again, it may not be quiet like this much longer. There should be a lot going on out there by now. There has also been more seismic activity going on in the Western U.S. There again, could be more seismic activity going on in parts of the Central and Eastern U.S. in the coming days or weeks. There has not been any small quakes in this side of the country over the last day or two, but there may be more going on anytime or day now. Again, there may likely be a lot of serious earthquake activity going on in the world within the next 5-7 days.
