Update: Sept. 7, 2020

The activity around the world has been rapidly decreasing since overnight. I sort of figured that this would happen. There may not be anymore significant activity going on anywhere for right now. It might end up becoming extremely quiet before it acts up again somewhere. It could end up being quiet all week or it could become very active again tomorrow, Thursday, or perhaps later on this afternoon or evening. Even though it has been active over the last couple of days that does not mean it is over and there will not be anything large going on for a while. I was doubtful about a major earthquake occurring somewhere at any time when I was making that post yesterday. I believe all that activity going on in the world prompted me to post it as a precautionary measure. However, there still is a high potential for more big earthquakes this week. It may or may not act up now or today. It is still showing no signs of acting up in Southern California today. It could suddenly spike later on or it may be another day of monotony in terms of local seismic activity. There is likely to be more going on this week around here. It should not be quiet much longer.
