Update: September 5, 2020

After a long and monotonous day in terms of earthquakes, a magnitude 5.9 occurred in the Molucca Sea region. I deleted a post I made earlier this afternoon. It was not a very well thought out post. There is now a very high potential for mag. 6-7+ worldwide any time or day now so far. A magnitude 8+ somewhere is of a higher possibility. Magnitude 8 quakes happen worldwide about once a year on average. There has not been one yet. At this point, more serious earthquake activity could start occurring somewhere any moment now, tomorrow, this week or it may end up becoming quiet again for now. Potential candidates for the next set of significant earthquakes include: Indonesia(Halmahera, Java, Sulawesi, Sumatra, the Flores Sea, or Banda Sea region), Central Asia(Pakistan, Afghanistan, or Myanmar), Greece or the Eastern Mediterranean Sea region, Japan, Northern Mariana Islands, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Fiji, Central America, South Sandwich Islands, Batan Islands(Philippines).. More earthquakes are due to start occurring in Southern California any time or day now. It has been a rather uninteresting day here in terms of seismic activity, but it could start up again tonight or tomorrow. If it stays quiet through the rest of the weekend and Labor Day, then much more should start taking place within the next week.
