New EQ Watch: 7/8-15/22

It has been a while since there has been a major surge in significant earthquake activity worldwide. So far, it may be becoming more active again. It may or may not happen just yet, but the potential for magnitude 6 or 7+ somewhere worldwide may be rising within the week ahead so far. Regions of possible concern would include: the Mariana Islands region, the Andaman Islands region(Port Blair, India region), Indonesia(Sumatra, Banda Sea region), Philippines(Luzon), Japan(Hokkaido or the Ryukyu Islands region), Kuril Islands(Russia), Aleutian Islands(Alaska, U.S.A.), Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, or Western China.. The listed regions are the places that have been more active most recently. So far, the Mariana Islands region is showing signs of becoming more active. There is due to be a major earthquake somewhere this month if not any time or any day now. Although there had been gaps in serious activity that lasted for 2 months, there might be a lot more going on within a week or any time now so far. It may or may not immediately act up yet, but again, a worldwide surge in significant earthquake activity is due.
