The areas to watch out for include: Japan, New Zealand(Cook Inlet area), Philippines(Mindanao, Luzon, or Batan Islands), Indonesia(Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, or the Banda Sea region), Papua New Guinea, Northern Mariana Islands, Kuril Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Central America, Greece, Hindu Kush region, Myanmar...
There is a lot of activity taking place out there.
At this point, there is a very high potential a large quake could occur somewhere anytime now or sometime within the week ahead. As for Southern California, so far, it is quite the opposite. It has been extremely uneventful here today so far. There is a strong potential a lot more will start taking place this week. It could end up changing later on today or this evening or it may be another 2 or 3 days.
