EQ WATCH: May 21 - 30, 2020

So far, the chances of magnitude 6-7+ earthquakes somewhere in the world any time or day now are extremely high again. At the same time, it could die back down where nothing serious happens until next month, but as of right now, there is a very high chance again. Regions that could potentially be impacted include: Indonesia(the Molucca, Flores, and Banda Sea region, Sumatra, Sulawesi), Northern Mariana Islands(Guam), Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, Philippines(Batan Islands, Mindanao), Japan(Honshu, Hokkaido, Izu Islands, Ryukyu Islands), Taiwan, Andaman Islands, Northern India, Afghanistan or Pakistan, Western Turkey, Southern Greece, Aleutian Islands, Central America, possibly parts of the Caribbean(Cayman Islands, Barbados or perhaps Colombia or Venezuela), Peru, Chile..
So far, there still might be more activity occurring in Southern California anytime now. There is still a very high chance of magnitude 4+ anytime or any day. There was more activity warming up here yesterday and this morning. The Ridgecrest sequence may start heating up some more again any moment now or within the week. More aftershocks also continue in Nevada. There is also still a high chance for more activity in Southern Alaska as well. There has been some more activity going on there. Again, it could flatten again, but the chances of large earthquakes somewhere in the world anytime now are very high again so far.
