A magnitude 6.2 struck offshore east of the Philippines, briefly prompting officials in the area to issue a tsunami warning. There were no reports of casualties, injuries, or damage. There is still a very high potential for more going on out there. I made a typo in the initial EQ watch post and meant make it last through the 4th and accidentally made the 1st the last day. It could still act up more after today. Another magnitude 7 or greater cannot be ruled out. Other areas to watch may include Central America, Indonesia(Sumatra or Nias region), Hokkaido, Japan, Izu Islands region(Japan), possibly parts of Central Asia, Papua New Guinea, and/or the Tonga region.
