A magnitude 6.6 occurred south of the Fiji Islands earlier. It occurred during the overnight hours in my time zone, so I was in bed when it happened. I was not up to report it right away. There is also a lot going on elsewhere so far. Other questionable places might include: Iran or Central Asia, Japan, the Kuril Islands or Kamchatka Peninsula, the Aleutian Islands, and Peru.. There may continue to be more going on this weekend so far.
