A magnitude 7.0 earthquake has hit Indonesia some 96 kilometers north of Tuban, according the the U.S. Geological Survey. A resident by the name of Sebastian Paz reported that the quake caused shaking across the Island. No tsunami warning has been issued. There is not much going on elsewhere in the world. However, there has been some interesting activity going on in parts of the United States recently. Some more seismic activity has occurred in Texas, Oklahoma as well as out east. A couple of small earthquakes occurred in northeastern New York and southeastern Canada. As for more serious activity worldwide, there is still a high potential for more significant activity out there any time now, but at the same time, that may have been it for now. An even larger earthquake somewhere would not be out of the question, but there still may not be much more going on yet.
