Report: 11/14/22

Hours ago, a magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck off the east coast of central Honshu, Japan. There was no tsunami threat and the earthquake was very deep. It was felt all over the region, but it did not cause any damage or injuries. The Shinkansen bullet trains and Tokyo metro were halted briefly after the quake, but have since resumed. There was also a magnitude 6.1 south of the Fiji Islands. There has been a lot of significant activity going on in the world lately and it still may not be done. There has also been more activity on the rise in central Asia from western China to northern Afghanistan. There is no telling whether the biggest earthquake of the year will be within this watch, but it is due. It also may not happen until next month. It could end up being by the end of the year, but it could also be any day now. The biggest earthquake that has happened this year so far was a magnitude 7.6(there was more than one this year). Typically an earthquake of magnitude 8 or at least a 7.9 or 7.8 occurs somewhere once a year.
