So far, the potential for more strong earthquake activity in the world is increasing again. It was extremely quiet yesterday, but it is showing signs of growing more active again this week. The regions that may be active include: Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Vanuatu region, Fiji, Central America, Chile, Peru, Argentina, the Aleutian Islands, Turkey... It may or may not act up much today, but there might be more significant activity going on somewhere in the world this week so far. There has also been some activity taking place in the New Madrid Seismic Zone. A small cluster of quakes leading up to a magnitude 3.1 struck western Tennessee last night through early this morning. There were six small earthquakes in a course of 8 hours.
