UPDATE: 8/15/21

The death toll from yesterday's magnitude 7.2 in Haiti continues to rise. Over 300 people have been killed and more than 1,800 were injured. Haiti's prime minister Ariel Henry said that local hospitals, particularly in the city of Les Cayes, were "overwhelmed with wounded, fractured people". An estimated 5,200 buildings were severely damaged or have collapsed. There may still be more significant activity taking place in the world. I might post an outlook later today or tomorrow. Some more seismic activity has occurred in parts of the central and eastern United States.
