Report: 2.20.23

An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck southern Turkey, near the Syrian border. Witnesses reported more damage to buildings in central Antakya which was hit by twin massive earthquakes 2 weeks ago, causing tens of thousands of deaths. Other witnesses said that Turkish rescue teams were running around after the latest quake, checking if people were unharmed. It is still active out there. Not only are more significant aftershocks possible in the most affected region, but there could still be some more significant activity taking place somewhere else in the world. Other potentially active regions include: the Philippines, Japan(Hokkaido), Indonesia, the Kuril Islands, and southwestern Pacific(Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Fiji, Kermadec Islands).
