Report: 9/10/22

 

Two strong earthquakes rocked Papua, Indonesia hours ago. There were no immediate reports of serious damage or injuries. I looked for further updates and so far, this does not sound like a catastrophic event. Many aftershocks ensued. So far, it still may be heated out there. Meanwhile, more small earthquakes have occurred in the New Madrid Seismic Zone. There have been 7 quakes in the region over the past week, 37 total over the past 30 days.
