At this point, there may be a short pause in global activity before it becomes more active in parts. There may be hardly anything going on anywhere today. At the same time, there is still a very high chance for a large earthquake somewhere any time or day now. Late yesterday, a mag. 5.5 occurred in the Kermadec Islands region. However, for now, the activity around the world may be decreasing where there is little going on. It could stay like that over the next 2-3 days. At the same time, it could suddenly heat back up again later on today.
