Update: 4/24/21

A magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck the Fiji region yesterday. There have not been reports of damage or injuries to nearby communities. It occurred underneath the ocean and it was very deep. Large quakes in that region are often very deep. The levels of activity around the globe are high. There is still a very high potential for more strong earthquake activity somewhere out there. Other regions to watch out for would include: Mexico, Central America, Colombia, Peru, Chile, South Sandwich Islands region, Papua New Guinea, Philippines(Mindanao, Luzon, or the Batan Islands region), Izu Islands, Ryukyu Islands, Indonesia(Sulawesi, Banda Sea, Sumatra, Java), Andaman and Nicobar Islands region, Turkey or Greece region..
