Report: 5.21.23

A magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck the Prince Edward Islands in the Indian Ocean and another strong earthquake struck the Solomon Islands less than an hour later. Neither one of them appeared to cause any harm. The first larger earthquake occurred in the middle of an ocean and it was in a divergent boundary, so it could not have caused a tsunami. It is not over so far. It still may be hot again. The Sulawesi region of Indonesia is another area of potential right now. Also the Molucca and Banda Sea regions are potential hot spots at this point. Indonesia is one of the most seismically active places in the world. I'm also still considering Turkey and the Mediterranean Sea region.
