Update: 6/21/21

 


Yesterday, a magnitude 6.7 occurred in the Kermadec Islands region. There was no tsunami threat. A magnitude 6.0 occurred this morning as an aftershock. There could still be more significant earthquake activity on the rise any time now this week. There could be a magnitude 7 or greater looming somewhere out there any time now. At this point, there may be a lot going on this week or by the end of this month. Other areas to watch may include: Central America, Tonga, Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Japan(Hokkaido), Ryukyu Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Indonesia, Pakistan, Western Turkey or Southern Greece, the Leeward Islands region..
