EQ Watch: 6/30-4/7/21

It has been generally quiet in the world for quite some time. June was an incredibly uneventful month in terms of significant earthquakes in the world. There may or may not finally be more going on yet, but there may be a lot of strong earthquake activity imminent within the week ahead. There could even be a particularly large event getting ready to take place somewhere out there. There may likely be a magnitude 6 or greater within the next 5 days. It could even be today. Regions to watch would include: Central America and/or possibly parts of the Caribbean region, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Fiji region, Vanuatu, Tonga, Indonesia(Banda and Molucca Sea region, Java, or Sumatra), Philippines(Mindanao), East Timor, Japan, Aleutian Islands, Afghanistan, or Pakistan.. I'm also just starting to pay attention to the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. There may possibly be something going on there. There has been some more seismic activity occurring across parts of the U.S. There could be more mag. 3+ taking place in parts of California this week or Nevada or other areas of the Western United States. There may also be more seismic activity occurring in the Central and Eastern U.S. in the coming days or weeks. Again, there is an extremely high chance of mag. 6+ in the world any time or day now. While it is remaining generally quiet right now, there may likely be a lot coming up within the week.
