Outlook: 6/22/21

There was some more significant earthquake activity going on in the world over the past 3 days, but it has overall been a quiet month. There is not much going on out there now. It may stay quiet all day or even over the next 2 days at this point. There may likely be a lot going on by July. There still could be more significant earthquake activity going on in the world before the end of the month. A magnitude 7 or greater within the next 5 days cannot be ruled out. If it stays quiet this week, then there should be a lot going on either by the end of the month or early July. Regions like the Southwestern Pacific Ring of Fire, Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan(Hokkaido), and Central America would be potential candidates for the next round of strong earthquake activity. Pakistan and Southern Greece have also been showing signs of becoming more active recently. There have been more small earthquakes occurring in parts of the Central and Eastern United States lately. There has also been more activity occurring in the Interior West such as in Idaho and the Yellowstone area. There may also possibly be more going on in the Pacific Northwest.
