Update: 2/3/21

A magnitude 6.9 earthquake occurred Southeast of Easter Island yesterday. There was no tsunami threat to Hawaii. There still may be a lot going on in the world in terms of earthquake activity. The Southwestern Pacific Ring of Fire is showing signs of being very active. Central and South America may be potentially very active any time now. There has also been more activity increasing again in Southern California. There was a magnitude 3.7 near Ocotillo Wells overnight. There may not be constant small quakes occurring in this region right now, but it may be becoming more active anytime now this week or next week.
