Update: 2/18/21

An aftershock of magnitude 6.1 occurred in the Loyalty Islands yesterday. A magnitude 6.2 occurred near the Southwestern side of the archipelago of Vanuatu. That area also had a larger earthquake just a few days ago. At this point, there may or may not be more strong earthquakes occurring elsewhere in the world anytime now. Iran has been having some concerning activity take place there. It is a place to monitor as a precaution even though at the same time, there may not be a large event going on there any time now. The rule of thumb is that it is better safe than sorry. Greece has also been having some significant activity taking place there most recently. There continues to be very little activity taking place here in Southern California. At this point, there should be a lot more going on by this weekend or early next week. More mag. 4+ are of a high likelihood within the week ahead. It could become more active today. Right now, it still looks the exact same as it did yesterday with only one small little flare-up and that was it. There has not been that much seismic activity going on anywhere else in the United States(excluding Alaska) this week so far.
