New EQ Watch: Aug. 12-20, 2020

A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.0 occurred off the coast of Tanzania earlier today, one of the less likely regions to have an earthquake. There now may be more strong earthquake activity occurring elsewhere worldwide any time now or within the week ahead at this point so far. Regions to watch out for would include: Pakistan, Iran, Xizang-China or Northern India, Indonesia(Sumatra, Java, Banda Sea or Molucca Sea), East Timor, Philippines(Batan or Babuyan Islands), Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Tonga, Kermadec Islands, Japan, Kuril Islands, Kamchatka Peninsula... It was fairly quiet earlier, but there are now more signs of more strong to potentially major earthquake activity somewhere in the world so far. There may also still be more activity heating up in Southern California. There could also potentially be something going on around the coast of British Columbia or Southern Alaska.
