EQ Watch: June 5 - 15, 2019

The chances of magnitude 6 or greater worldwide any moment now or sometime within the next 14 days are extremely high again so far. A strong earthquake sometime within the next week or two weeks somewhere is highly likely. It could even happen anytime now. Potential candidates for the next significant earthquake activity include: Chile, Peru, South Sandwich Islands region, Central America or Southwestern Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Santa Cruz Islands, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tonga, Fiji, Loyalty Islands, potentially New Zealand(North Island), Indonesia, East Timor, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, Kuril Islands, Kamchatka Peninsula, Andaman Islands region, Myanmar(Burma), China(Sichuan, Yunnan, or Xizang), Kyrgyzstan or Tajikistan, Iran, Southern Greece, Aleutian Islands..
More activity has been occurring in Southern California over the past week. A swarm of earthquakes has been occurring South of South Fontana and North of Glen Avon. A number of minor quakes, 2 magnitude 4.3 EQs occurred around San Clemente Island earlier today. There is the potential for even more activity underway within the next 3 weeks or possibly sooner. I will be updating more consistently via Twitter throughout the coming days depending on what is taking place.
There may also be more seismic activity increasing in other parts of California and the Western U.S. such as Montana, Utah, or Nevada(or possibly the Pacific Northwest).
I'm going to be playing it by ear. At this point, it is uncertain whether much more activity will be taking place in Southern California within the coming days or weeks. There has been a lot more going on. This was followed by a weeks-long stall in activity in this region. This may start tapering off, yet more could be taking place within weeks. A magnitude 5 or larger could finally be imminent. It could be within 2-3 weeks or any day. It is uncertain. Like I stated before, I'm just going to play it by ear.
