I decided to extend the world EQ watch to April 6th. It has not been very active over the last 2 days with only a few moderate sized earthquakes. However, the activity might be on the rise again just now. There may be a number of significant earthquakes in the world within the next 7-14 days at this point. A strong earthquake could still strike somewhere any moment now. Regions that may be of concern include: Xizang(China), the Andaman Islands region, Indonesia(Sumatra, Sumbawa, Banda Sea, Sulawesi), East Timor, Philippines(Mindanao), Papua New Guinea, Ryukyu Islands, Izu Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Central America, Colombia.. There could be some more activity flaring up in California or other parts of the Western U.S. such as Montana, Nevada, and/or Utah. There has also been signs of more activity occurring in Central parts of the U.S. There is again a very high chance of magnitude 6 or greater earthquakes in the world anytime now or within the next 5-7 days so far.

Outlook: March 2021
This has been a relatively active month so far in terms of significant earthquakes around the world. There is still a high potential for more strong earthquakes somewhere anytime now. However, there could be a lull later next week or perhaps this weekend. It could end up being less active around the end of this month and it kick back up again in April. There is still a high potential for more significant or major earthquakes out there anytime or day now at the same time. There may be some more activity warming up in Southern California this weekend. There has also been more activity increasing in other areas across the country such as western Texas. There has also been some signs of activity occurring in the Central US and Tennessee over the past week. A small earthquake occurred near Powhatan, Arkansas last night and another one occurred not far in Missouri. Second Update: 3/17/21
A magnitude 6 earthquake just struck Northern Algeria. Photos are already showing up on Twitter and it appears to have caused considerable damage. There has yet to be reports of injuries or deaths from this latest event. There still may be a threat for more significant earthquakes in the area. There is the possibility of a stronger earthquake. It also might not happen, but be cautious in case it does. There could also still be more strong earthquake activity elsewhere in the world in regions such as the Aleutian Islands, Kuril Islands, Tonga, Fiji, Indonesia, and/or the Northern Mariana Islands.
Update: 3/17/21
A magnitude 6.6 earthquake occurred off the Kamchatka Peninsula(East coast) yesterday. There was no tsunami threat and no casualties or injuries have been reported in the affected areas. There were more than 20 aftershocks that ensued. Some more moderate sized earthquakes have occurred elsewhere in the world. There may still be more significant activity going on somewhere. At the same time, that may be it for now. There has been some more seismic activity occurring around the United States. There is less seismic activity going on in Southern California right now. There may or may not be much going on this week. It has overall remained quiet lately. There is a chance of mag. 3+ within the week ahead. There could be more going on elsewhere in CA and/or other parts of the Western U.S. There is also a potential for more activity going on in parts of the Central U.S. Alaska may have more mag. 3-4+ imminent any time now or within the next several days so far.
