Update: 11/10/21

 


A magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck 114.6 miles northeast of Hirara, Okinawa earlier at a depth of 6.2 miles. No Pacific-wide tsunami was expected. No injuries or damage were immediately reported either. There was another significant earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 off the coast of Java, Indonesia shortly after the first large quake. There may still be more going on out there. There has also been some more seismic activity occurring in the Central and Eastern United States again including Virginia and South Carolina today. There was also more seismic activity going on in the western Texas and eastern New Mexico border area. There also has been some activity occurring in other areas of the West as well as the Pacific Northwest. There could also be some more activity heating up in Alaska again.
